KFC opens a week early in Norwich

Thanks to the commitment and experience of the Jephsons’ interior fit-out teams working on the project, the brand new KFC restaurant in Sprowston on the outskirts of Norwich opened a full week earlier than anticipated.
The new restaurant and drive-thru is situated on the Sprowston Retail Park and occupies two floors of a converted building that now offers 80 covers for shoppers. The design makes good use of clean lines that complement the open ceiling to give a contemporary industrial, all aided by the use of stainless steel banisters and matt grey pillars.
Andy Carter was Jephsons’ Project Manager for the job and says although the pressure was on for this task, the fit-out teams pulled out all the stops to make sure the customer was happy when it came to handover. “There had been some previous delays in areas that we had no control over, but we knew how important it was to KFC to have the restaurant open as soon as possible. The team worked flat out and managed to shave a whole week off of the expected opening time, which even with our commitment to keeping to budget, quality and timescales is really going some. Our experience of working in the retail and hospitality sector means we know just how valuable time is to our customers, which is why we will always go that extra mile for them whenever we can in order to get them open and trading as soon as possible, “says Andy.> News archive
